One of the disaster scenarios for the world is a massive solar flare that causes a radiation spike and an electromagnetic pulse which has the potential to wipe all of the world's computers clean. Just imagine the chaos... Throwforward Thursdays is normally update and optimistic, but every now and again we'll drop in a disaster scenario too, just to remind ourselves of how fragile our world really is.
