Lockdown has forced me to learn. A lot.
Today I did another live presentation where I used multiple layers and scenes with Ecamm Live, moving between camera angles, putting myself inside my slide deck, playing with video and doing interactive activities. All live and without a crew.
I am not where I want to be yet, by a long shot, but I am really enjoying feeling like I am in a place where I am learning a lot and needing to up my skills. It is nice, of course, to be in a place of confident expertise, where you know you’re on top of your game. But it’s also brilliant to know that you’re in a space of learning. It’s a different kind of thrill.
Covid has forced me to play a new game, rather than just “up my game”. I’m excited to see where it takes me.
