I am truly grateful that I really like the people I love - especially my immediate family with whom I am in lockdown.
I believe that divorce lawyers are already seeing a pick up in business, and some marriages are not going to survive this extended period of spouses being in each other’s spaces - and faces. I can’t imagine how tough it must be to be stuck in a house with someone you don’t like.
Even worse, I cannot imagine the agony of being stuck in a house with someone who actually abuses you, whether physically, emotionally or psychologically. A lot of pain is going to be inflicted on people during this lockdown period, and it will make a bad situation infinitely worse.
Today I am grateful for the joy my family brings me. I am grateful for the love we have for each other. I am truly grateful that if I could choose from all the people in the world who I would be locked down with, my family are my favourites. What a gift in these tough times.
